Sharon Rae Trunk

Sharon Rae Trunk, 79, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, in Gatesville.

 Inurnment: 9:00 a.m. January 20, 2025, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

 She was born June 11, 1945, to Clinton and Pearl Anderson. Sharon loved her family with all her heart. She was a warrior. Sharon battled her sickness until her body could take no more. She was a wonderful mother, and friend. Her smile was contagious, her ability to care for those around her was truly a gift. Sharon’s powers were endless, you showed us the ways to be strong in a storm, love beyond measure and have the compassion that Jesus shared. Her smile brightened the room, her silly ways made us laugh and we had so much fun on our family adventures. She was a wonderful mother, Grandmother and great-grandmother. We will cherish her love in our hearts forever. 

We were so blessed each day being a part of her life. She taught us so much about life, love and God. You were our mother, our teacher, our friend and a huge part of our heart. Our hearts will miss her so much. We love her so very much and will see you again. 

Survivors include her children, Kevin Trzell, Melisa Schultz, Michelle Jacobs, Charleen Lewis and Christine Trunk; grandchildren, Timothy Cornish, Jaecob Schultz, Madison Schultz, Justin Jacobs, Chase Jacobs, Autumn Jacob, Ashley Lewis, Laura Lewis and Johnathan Lewis, Jayden Russell, Charlie Trzell, Taliesin Trzell; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Wright, Katie Hill and Jet Jacobs.

 Praise God for heaven awaits us all who are faithful to his son.
