Theodore Clayton Butler, 90, joined his bride and his Savior in Heaven, May 24, 2019. Ted was born September 30, 1928 in Coudersport, PA to Carl and Lavina Butler. He married his sweetheart, Peggy Hill, in Coudersport, PA on December 18, 1948. He was a committed Christ follower, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed by many. Ted was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Peggy, his parents, Carl and Lavina Butler; brother Gene Butler; son-in-law, Matthew Myrick; daughter-in-law, Janet Butler; and granddaughter, Sonya Oliver. Survivors: Children, David Butler and wife, Ann of Spicewood, Tim Butler of Liberty Hill, Patti Howe and husband, Danny, of Weatherford, and Christy Mattingly and husband, Louis, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Laura Welty and husband, Chad, Ryan Butler, Bob McNutt, Rebecca Howe, Lynn Tortorici, Bonner Butler, Matilyn Myrick, Nicole Mattingly, Tate Myrick, J.T. Mattingly, Luke Myrick, and Embry Myrick; great grandchildren, Selah, Eva, Elisha, and Micah Welty; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
