Theresa Eva Hebert Valliere passed away peacefully at home and into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Chapel, 108 N. W. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells 76067. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy., Weatherford, 76088. Visitation: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2020 with Rosary at 3 p.m. at White’s Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells 76067. Memorials: If desired, the family requests that donations may be made in Theresa’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, StJude.org Theresa was born July 20, 1930 in Fairhaven, Massachusetts to Napoleon and Rose Morrissette Hebert. On January 5, 1951 she married Henry Oscar Valliere at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, New Bedford, Mass. They were married for fifty-nine years until Henry’s passing September 19th, 2013. Theresa was a military wife who moved all over the country and to Germany supporting her husband’s Army career. Henry and Theresa moved to Mineral Wells on June 6th, 1966 where they resided until their passing. They were both proud parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where they made wonderful friends whom they cherished. Theresa enjoyed sewing, doing crafts with her family, watching her kids and grandkids sporting events, dance recitals and band concerts, church activities, gardening, and being by the water. Theresa will be remembered for always having a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone she met but also for her undeniable northeastern accent. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Henry O. Valliere; parents, Napoleon and Rose Hebert; brother, Paul Hebert and wife, Sylvia; and brother, Hervey Hebert. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Valliere of Mineral Wells, Henry M. Valliere and wife, Robin, of Midlothian, Robert Valliere and wife, Sandy, of Alvarado, Danny Valliere of Mineral Wells, Linda Valliere Lee and husband, Gary, of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Jennifer Valliere, Valerie Valliere-Boyd and husband, Brian, Henry J. Valliere, Brandi Lee, Justyn Lee, Jeremy Richardson and wife, Angie, Rachel Gorena and husband, Noe; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Madi, Ethan, Nathaniel, Zoie, Jadon, and Harlen. Our family would like to say a very special thank you to Gail Hull who has given our Mom amazing care, love and encouragement through this journey. You were a Blessing not only to Mom, but to us as well. Also, to Kindred Hospice for your care, support and guidance during her lengthy illness.
