Thomas Joel Rizzo

Thomas Joel Rizzo, 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 17, 2020, after a very brief illness. Memorials: We would request that remembrances be given to the Center of Hope, 1318 Clear Lake Road, Weatherford, TX 76086, in Tom’s name. Tom served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and had over a fifty-year career in the Life, Health, and Securities Business. This offered him many wonderful client relationships that have lasted over these many years. He was regularly active in his church, Faith Presbyterian Church, Aledo, and had served as a deacon in previous churches. Tom volunteered many years with the local Center of Hope, Weatherford, as an adviser. Preceding him were his mother and father, Madelaine DeFrancisco and Emilio Rizzo. Tom leaves behind one brother, David Rizzo and his wife, Patricia Karnes of Winter Park, FL; a friend and life partner of 42 years, Julia A. Rizzo; one daughter, Teryl F. Wilson and husband, John Tracy Wilson; and one son, Anthony B. Rizzo and his wife, Melinda Rizzo; and four unbelievable grandchildren, Lauren M. Wilson of San Francisco, CA, Alexa A. Wilson of Seattle, WA, Samantha E. and Ryan A. Rizzo of Geneva, FL; and one nephew, Michael D. Rizzo of Orlando, FL.
