Thomas "Tom" Alan Wells

Longtime Hood County resident, Tom Wells, age 70, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Graveside: 10 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2020 at Central Cemetery in Weatherford. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Hood County VFD, Station 20. Tom was born March 2, 1950 in Fort Worth, son of Menno Quenton Wells and Wilma Jean Luck Wells. He was a multiple business owner in Granbury for over 40 years. Tom was a lover of motorcycles, his dog, Bula, family, friends, and community. He will be missed by many that knew him. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Wells; daughters, Kara Cooley and Amy Whelchel; son, Quenton Wells and wife, April; grandchildren, Mia Wells, and Trixton Whelchel; brother, Jimmy Wells; and many other family members and friends.
