Tommy B. Slay

Tommy B. Slay, 70, passed away July 5, 2018 at his home in Graford. Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Abundant Life Church of Graford, 124 E. Lee Ave., Graford, 76449. Interment: McAdams Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, 76067. Tommy was born October 8, 1947 to Charlie Alford and Eunice Elline Nash Slay. He married the love of his life, Margaret Ruth Walker, on February 12, 1972. Tommy lived his life to the fullest and will be missed by all who knew him. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Margaret Ruth Slay; parents, Charlie Alford and Eunice Elline Slay; daughter, Melinda Elaine Slay; and grandson, Christopher Mark Zamora. Survivors: son, Micheal T. Slay and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Micheal T. Slay, Jr., Kristie Slay, Charlie Slay, Trevor Slay, Daniel Zamora, Cyndal and Aryal; grandchildren who he raised, T.J. Slay and wife, Christina, and Tyson Slay; younger sister who he helped raise, Rebecca London and husband, Russell; five great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
