Tony Ray Hill, 78, of Weatherford, Texas, went to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, February 8, 2025, after battling lung cancer.
Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
Graveside Service: 2 p.m. at Annetta Cemetery in Annetta.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony’s honor to Restorations Church, 419 East 3rd St., Hardinsburg, KY 40143.
Tony was born on October 12, 1946 to Ella and Rayford Hill in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended school at Diamond Hill and joined the United States Army in 1966. He was a member of the 198th Light Infantry Brigade and served in the Vietnam War. Tony was a very skilled carpenter and was in the construction business for over 50 years. Tony started working for Solaris Health Service in 2017 and retired from there in 2024 at the age of 77. When he wasn’t working, you could find him outside sitting on the porch telling crazy stories, eating a bowl of ice cream, or at his favorite fishing hole.
Tony was predeceased by his parents, Ella and Parker Davis, and Rayford Hill; and his wife of 19 years, Elaine Hill.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Kelly Miller and her husband, Kent; grandchildren, Kayla Lancaster (Preston), Korey, Kendall, and Kolton Miller; great-grandchildren, Kynlee, Brantley, and Cooper Lancaster, all of Hardinsburg, Kentucky; his sister and best friend, Alice Kellum of Springtown; many nieces, nephews, cousins, stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.
