Trevelene Joy Sanders, 87, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed into the arms of her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, December 2, 2021, while at home with her loving family. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2251 Bethel Road, Weatherford. Interment: Oakland Cemetery, Weatherford. She graduated from Weatherford High School in 1952, having received an award for penmanship. Trevelene worked for 18 years for Merchant’s and Farmers State Bank, now Texas Bank. She retired from Lockheed Martin in 2004 after 21 years of service. Trevelene started Clearfork 4-H Club in 1973, Cowtown Plus Square Dance Club in 1995 and was their president for five years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since 1949. She loved working in her yard, doing crafts, sewing and square dancing. Trevelene made all of her square dancing dresses. Mostly, she loved spending time with her family. Until her health failed, she had not missed a birth of her grandchildren as well as 11 of the 14 great-grandchildren. Trevelene was preceded in death by her father, Imon Harvey Beauchamp on June 6, 1971; mother, Altheria Region Beauchamp on March 30, 2008; son, Perry Sanders on September 27, 2018; and sister, Sharon Gail Beauchamp on November 22, 1995. Survivors: Husband, Curtis Sanders of Weatherford; children, Doug Bennett and wife, Lilly of Pauline, SC, Joy Bennett McFarland and husband, Walter, of Weatherford, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Sanders of Arlington; grandchildren, Brandon Ingram, Rowdy McFarland, Misty McFarland, Joe Ingram, Briana Houser, and Jillian Childers; 14 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members, friends and church family.
