Virginia Ann Roberson Collom, 78, entered her Heavenly home on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Fort Worth, surrounded by her family. Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Aspermont Cemetery, Aspermont, Texas. Visitation: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White’s Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Ann was born on January 17, 1942 in Aspermont to Henry and Mabel Rutherford Roberson. She married her soul mate, Eldon “Dean” Collom on January 23, 1959. Ann was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Some of Ann’s favorite pass times were shooting pool, dancing, rocking in her rocking chair and spending time with her family. She was reunited in Heaven with her husband, Dean; her parents; brother, William “Bill” Roberson; step-mother, Gladys Roberson; great-granddaughter, Kodi Dawn Hobson; and a host of family and friends. Ann is survived by her sister, Janeen Criswell of Aspermont; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy Langley, Shirley Hobson, Deana and Donald Moore, Leann and Brian Newby; step-brothers, Lloyd and George Burt; grandchildren, Nicholas Langley, David Hobson, Jennifer Putt, Charles Collom, Misit Moore, Lisa White, Trevor Newby, Tanner (Sammi) Newby, and Tori Newby; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Priscilla Langley, Christian Moore, Hunter Meredith, Braxton and Braylynn White, and Azaria Salinas; as well as a host of family and friends that will treasure their memories with her.
