Virginia Lee Collet Loan

Virginia Lee Collet Loan, age 92, of Garner, Texas, passed peacefully to her heavenly home at Holland Lake Nursing Home in Weatherford, Texas on Friday, June 16, 2023 with her loving adopted family and caregivers, Lara and Wayne Frazier, at her side. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2023 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, Texas. Graveside Service: 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford, Texas. Virginia was born August 5, 1930 in Hutchinson County, Texas to Arthur Collet and Mabel Colesar Collet. She was an active member in the order of the Eastern Star in Millsap, Texas. Virginia held the position of Deputy Grand Matron of the district from 1980-1981. She was a member of the Bethesda Methodist Church in Garner, Texas. Virginia was involved in church and community activities for many years. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of her community. Virginia was very loved by her friends and family and will be sadly missed. She will always hold a place in our hearts. Virginia was predeceased by her loving husband, Jesse Dee Loan; sisters, Dolores Smith, and Arlene Sims; and brother, Arthur Collet, Jr. Virginia is survived by her nieces, Dolores Collet of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, Madalynn Terzenbach of Tempe, Arizona, Linda Loan Moore of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Helen Loan Dreyer of Cameron, Texas.
