Vivian Lucille Brown

Vivian Lucille Brown, 82, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024 in Weatherford.

Visitation: 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in White’s Chapel of Memories.

Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy., Weatherford.

Lucille was born December 7, 1941 in Mineral Wells, to Richard Stanley Gatlin and Artie Ozelle Grimes. She married Martin Robert Brown, and they would spend many happy years together.

Lucille continued her education and became a beautician/cosmetologist. She attended church at Immanuel Baptist Church in Mineral Wells.

Lucille had many hobbies including crafting, ceramics, painting plastic canvas, needlepoint, and jewelry making. One of her favorite memories was vacationing in Colorado. 

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Stanley Gatlin; and a sister, Laura Gatlin.

She is survived by her husband, Martin Brown; her daughters, Vivian Sturdivant and Tammy Plowman; 7 grandkids and 13 great-grandkids.

She was loved and will be remembered by all the family and friends who loved her.
