Born on May 24, 1954, in Waco, Texas, Diane was more than just family by name—she was family by heart. She embodied the true meaning of love and connection, proving that chosen family is just as real, just as deep, and just as meaningful as blood. Her warmth, fierce love, and open arms made everyone around her feel like they belonged.
Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Victor Hagman; her children, John Paul (Jillian) Pierce of Azle, Texas, Eugene Allen (Nicole) Pierce of Denver, Colorado, Ryan Reed Plunkett of Portland, Oregon, and Amanda (Todd) Chase of Mineral Wells, Texas. She also leaves behind her brother, David (Sheila) Tollison of Waco, Texas, and sister, Cathy Schoenrock of West, Texas.
Diane’s legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Tiffani, Katlyn, Timothey, Aeris, John-Anthony, Temprence, AJ, Emily, Elizabeth, Cheyenne, Britin, Sarah, Matthew, Abigail, Daniel, Jayden, Maddison, Mariah, Owen, and Miles, as well as her 12 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beth and Eugene Tollison, and her siblings, Charles, Jerry, Sharon, Kimberly, and Charlotte.
Diane’s love knew no bounds, and her memory will forever be carried in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be loved by her. Her warmth, wisdom, and laughter will be deeply missed, but the love she gave so freely will continue to shine through all who knew her.
