Walter Arvle Stephenson

Walter Stephenson, 76, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at his home in Paradise. Funeral Service: 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown. Visitation: 9 to10 a.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown. Interment: Wednesday, December 6, 2023 in Annis Chapel Cemetery. Walter was born June 29, 1947 in Wink, Texas, to Arvle Stephenson and Lillian Stephenson, nee Howard. Walter was a retired locksmith for the Fort Worth Independent School District and former President of the North Texas Locksmith Association. He was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church of Boyd. His favorite things were his faith, family, food and he was an avid collector of all things! He is preceded in death by his parents, Christeen (Wright) and Arvle Stephenson; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Patricia Story; his brother, Billy Wayne Parrish; and his daughter, Glennell Peterson. Walter is survived by his wife, Dr. Keitha Story-Stephenson; his daughter, Christina Horn and husband Rob; his son, Walter Stephenson, Jr. and wife Nancy; his sister, Vickie Smith; his brother-in-law, Kelvin Story and wife Robin; 10 grandkids, 25 great-grandkids; 3 nephews and 4 nieces. Officiating at the service at the request of the family will be Bro. Andy Walters. He was loved and will be missed and remembered by all the relatives and friends who knew him.
