Weldon Russell Davis

Weldon Russell Davis, 85, passed away, Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at his home in White Settlement. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Fundamental Baptist Church in Springtown. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2023 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel, in Springtown. Interment: 3:00 p.m., Monday, May 8, 2023 in Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Weldon was born October 22, 1937 in Azle, Texas, son of James Gardiner Davis and Mildred Lucille (Atchley) Davis. He met the love of his life, Linda Kay Richardson, and they were married on February 26, 1965. They would go on to spend 58 happy years together. Weldon worked for many years for the Texas Department of Transportation. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Cleyon Davis. Weldon is survived by his loving wife, Linda Davis; children, Rusty Davis (Penny), Dusty Davis, Sandy Wilcox (Loren); Grandchildren, Meagan, Danika (Savon), Clay and Cory; Great-grandchildren, Titus and Evander; brother, Gary Gene Davis; many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
